Since 1886, the Children's Hospital of Michigan has been dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to children and adolescents in a caring, efficient and family-centered environment. A proud member of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), the Children's Hospital of Michigan was the first children's hospital in the state. This 228-bed facility has an international reputation in pediatric medicine, surgery and research, training more pediatricians than any other facility in Michigan.

We had a wonderful experience here. Dr Mac, nurses Erin and Karoline (??) were all so caring and gentle with my son. Dr took time and explained everything, and the xray and ultrasound techs were lovely as well. Everything was fast and efficient and we were in and out in under 3 hours which is crazy considering he had labs, an xray, and ultrasound.

We were just there for a regular appointment visit. My young child needs blood draws at these appointments and it can sometimes be very difficult. Today was amazing though, thanks to the nurse Jenifer. We explained everything to my child, was exceptionally caring and got the blood draw done fast and as pain free as it could be. I wish we could get her every time for our appointments.

Jenifer who is the nurse for the Neuro Doc was fantastic! I was really having a bad day and extremely nervous about what the doctor would say about my son she made my son feel so extra special! We came in scared and nervous and we left with the bounce in our staff and a big smile all because of Jenifer !
