Hospital Universitário Getúlio Vargas (HUGV) is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM) and managed in partnership with the Empresa Brasileira de Serviços Hospitalares (Ebserh). Established over five decades ago, it serves as a reference for medium and high-complexity care in Western Amazonia. HUGV is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services, conducting research, and offering training programs for undergraduate and postgraduate health professionals.
