Dr. Dan Martin is a Skin Cancer Specialist with over 10 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. After completing his MBBS at the University of Sydney, Dr. Martin developed a passion for skin cancer medicine, which led him to pursue further qualifications, including Graduate Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy, along with an Advanced Clinical Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery.

Dr. Martin joined Southern Cross Skin Cancer in January 2014, where he quickly built a strong reputation for his expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. His extensive background includes working in a range of healthcare settings, from rural GP in Narooma, Aboriginal health in Darwin, to the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Broken Hill.

Throughout his career, Dr. Martin has specialized in skin cancer screening, early detection, and surgical treatment. He is highly skilled in dermoscopy, a key diagnostic tool for identifying skin cancers in their early stages. Dr. Martin is dedicated to delivering high-quality care and also plays a key role in training medical students and doctors in the field of skin cancer medicine.
