Dr. Kate Kelso has contributed extensively to the field of reproductive medicine and general practice through her clinical work, research, and educational initiatives. She authored the Master of Reproductive Medicine: Fertility Assessments and Treatment Protocols in 2021, which is used as a reference in fertility medicine education. In 2020, Dr. Kelso published Women’s Health and Antenatal Care in General Practice: A Practical Guide for GPs, an internal publication at Walker Street Doctors that supports general practitioners in providing high-quality antenatal care. Additionally, Dr. Kelso co-authored a research article, Fertility Medicine in Primary Care: Integrating Reproductive Medicine with General Practice, published in the Journal of Reproductive Medicine in 2019, which explores integrating fertility care into primary practice settings. She also contributed an article, Psychosocial Support in Fertility Treatment: Addressing Mental Health in Reproductive Medicine, to Australian Doctor in 2018, focusing on the psychological aspects of fertility treatments. Dr. Kelso’s work extends to sports medicine, where she authored an internal manual titled Optimizing Sports Medicine in General Practice: Approaches for Athlete Health and Recovery in 2017. Through these contributions, Dr. Kelso continues to enhance clinical practice and patient care in fertility, women’s health, and sports medicine.

Dr. Kate Kelso is a dedicated General Practitioner with over 15 years of experience, specializing in fertility medicine. After completing her MBBS at the University of Newcastle in 2009, she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010. Dr. Kelso furthered her expertise by obtaining a Master’s in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2021. She is an accredited provider of shared antenatal care with Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH), Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), and Royal Hospital for Women (RHW). Additionally, Dr. Kelso holds a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health from Family Planning NSW and has undertaken training in mental health care, enabling her to provide focused psychological care.
