Experience

Dr. Sheena Wilmot has been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) for over 30 years since completing her MBBS at the University of Sydney in 1987. After completing her internship and residency, Dr. Wilmot has developed a wide-ranging expertise in women’s health, men’s health, and skin cancer care.

She has extensive experience in travel medicine, offering vaccination services and health advice for travelers, as well as managing skin cancer screenings and treatment. Dr. Wilmot also works in aboriginal health, where she provides healthcare services to Indigenous communities, focusing on preventative care and chronic disease management.

She has assisted in gynaecological surgeries, working closely with specialists in the field, and is a committed member of the Kidney Check Australia Taskforce Committee, working to improve kidney health and prevention strategies for chronic kidney disease.
