Established over 70 years ago, the hospital has grown significantly and is now home to over 700 staff members and 150 physicians. As an affiliate of Huntsville Hospital Health System, Athens-Limestone Hospital is committed to delivering excellent healthcare services with a focus on patient safety, compassion, and innovation. I have never been so happy to be there. The doctor, the nurses were so nice, they were always trying to help. I had a very rough back surgery. The first surgery they went in from the side. The next day they went in from the back. They put a cage around my spine, then the next day they put the pins, and screws. They treated me so good. If you have to have back surgery, I would tell you.
