  1. Overview: Chandler Regional Medical Center is a full-service, acute care, not-for-profit hospital located in Chandler, Arizona. It serves the East Valley of Phoenix and is part of the Dignity Health network.

  2. History: Opened in 1961 as Chandler Community Hospital with 42 beds, it relocated to its current site in 1984 with a 120-bed facility. Subsequent expansions in 2014 and 2021 increased capacity to 429 beds across four patient towers.

  3. Services: Offers a wide range of services, including cardiovascular care, emergency services (Level I Trauma Center), family birth center, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pediatric and adolescent care, sleep center, and diagnostic services.

  4. Affiliation: Became part of Dignity Health (formerly Catholic Healthcare West) in 1999. Despite this affiliation, it remains a non-Catholic hospital.

The staff was phenomenal! From the woman who wheeled me in from the valet ( also the valets were great!!) the the emergency room staff. They heard my concerns and took me in to be seen. I am 70 years old but have not spent a lot of time in Hospitals in my life. None of the ones I have been in, in Canada or the USA compare to Chandler Regional. It's darn sure the biggest I have ever seen. I had two rather major heart procedures and the service levels were beyond. They saved my life so I am pretty happy.~Shaun Heldt
