Very appreciative of my overnight visit and emergency surgery at High Desert Medical Center on White Feather. All of the staff are amazing, capable, thoughtful, caring people. I am especially grateful for Nurse Sarah the rock climber, who came over to help out from ICU. Definitely a kindred spirit, she understood my need to balance pain management in light of my low-normal blood pressure, and Nurse Mary who offered things I never would have thought of, like swabs for my nose that helped both with infection and smell, and swabs for my mouth when I was no longer allowed to drink pre-surgery. I am very glad to know this facility exists near the wild places I like to ride, although I hope I don't have to visit again!

I’ve only had about 2 bad experiences here in my whole life. But this last one was really good! I came in feeling like absolute garbage. The most amazing, sweetest, most wonderful nurse took care of me. Her name is Edith. She was on night shift. I love her so much I wish I could give her a hug but I can’t cause I’m sick lol. Thank you Edith for making my experience good. She offered me a sandwich and jello and talked with me too. She definitely cares about people! Please keep her around!
