Hospital Regional do Baixo Amazonas (HRBA), also known as Dr. Waldemar Penna, is a public general hospital located in Santarém, Pará. It serves as a regional reference hospital for the western Pará region, providing high-complexity medical services to a population of over 1.4 million people across 30 municipalities. The hospital is managed by the Instituto Social Mais Saúde in partnership with the Secretaria de Estado de Saúde Pública do Pará (SESPA). Since its inauguration in 2006, HRBA has been a cornerstone of healthcare in the Amazon region.
