Established in 1943, the Ex-Hospital Civil de Pachuca is a historic medical facility that has played a pivotal role in the development of healthcare and medical education in Hidalgo. It was the first hospital in the region designed specifically for medical care and has since become an integral part of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH). Today, it serves as a clinical training site for medical students and professionals, contributing significantly to the advancement of healthcare in the region.
