Dr Lachlan Host

Dr. Lachlan Host has over 10 years of experience in orthopedic surgery since completing his MBBS from the University of Sydney in 2010. He then went on to complete his Fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery (FRACS) in 2016. After his training, Dr. Host worked in several trauma centers and orthopedic departments in both urban and rural hospitals in New South Wales and Queensland.

Dr. Host specializes in joint replacement surgery, trauma surgery, and the management of musculoskeletal injuries. He has extensive experience in treating fractures, sports injuries, degenerative joint diseases, and performing knee, hip, and shoulder replacement surgeries. His focus is on minimally invasive techniques, aiming to reduce recovery time and improve patient outcomes.

Currently practicing in Bathurst, Dr. Host has become a key figure in the region’s orthopedic care, providing personalized care to patients with orthopedic concerns and working closely with rehabilitation teams to ensure optimal recovery and mobility.

Dr. Lachlan Host has participated in various research projects focusing on orthopedic surgery and joint replacement procedures. His research primarily involves advances in minimally invasive techniques for joint replacements, particularly in hip and knee surgeries. He has contributed to studies examining the effectiveness of new prosthetic materials and the long-term outcomes of joint replacement surgeries.

In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Host has worked on research projects that focus on the rehabilitation of orthopedic patients, aiming to improve post-surgery mobility and reduce recovery times. His work has been presented at national and international conferences and published in leading orthopedic surgery journals.
